The Most Prescious Gift

A riddle:

(Try to solve it before the end!)

I want you to have me, ’cause I know I can help,

But you can’t hardly see me – I can only be felt;

When I’m nowhere around, all you have is despair,

Of the important in life, you no longer care;

But I come when you call me – I’m there in a jif,

Please God, don’t ignore me if you’re nearing a cliff;

The cure that so many have called on to cope,

Is the peace and the joy we receive when we hope.

*Seriously, if you need someone to talk to, either comment below, send us an email, contact a friend, pray, seek professional help, anything! Just hold on! You are special and you are loved and you are deeply cared about. 🙂

Something We Want

A riddle:

(Try to guess the answer before the end!)

If you want me: command me – for it isn’t by right,

That you get what you want – or by being polite;

Some say ‘fore you give me, you first must receive,

But you’ll lose me forever if you’re caught to deceive;

While some try to force it, and others ignore,

If you leave me to chance, there’s no promise in store;

I’m not as elusive as some like to say,

As you carry yourself, it’s all in the way;

You can have me in droves if you never neglect,

That confidence is key in commanding respect.

Needful Things

A riddle:

(See if you can guess the answer before you finish!)

The more that we have, the more that we want;

Which increases the chances of beginning to flaunt;

The more that we get, the less it consoles;

For we waste it so easy, forgetting our goals;

Some sneak around, some wear a disguise;

To obtain just a little in greater supplies;

In days that are dark, and nights that are sunny;

This elusive device, for most people, is money.
