Stand in the Gap

“I looked for someone to stand in the gap… but found no one.” (Ezekiel 22:30)

To stand in the gap is to stand out from the crowd.

You don’t “fake it to make it” or “go along to get along.”

You stand firm in your convictions and stand up for what you believe in as a faithful servant of the Lord God.

The Lord Jesus is “the Way, the Truth, and the Light.” (John 14:6)

Those who stand in the gap are “the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14)

To stand in the gap is to “let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

God is constantly seeking soldiers who will take up the call to action and fight for what they believe in.

Many are able, but few are willing.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Luke 10:2)

It starts with you.

By sharing the love of Jesus and what a difference He has made in your life, you set in motion the seeds of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of those who hear you.

Atheists and Agnostics can argue all they want about theology or potential contradictions in people’s beliefs, but nobody can take away your own testimony.

Simply state what God has done for you and why you believe in Him.

There’s no greater fulfillment on earth than succeeding in the work of the Lord, and your labor is never in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:18)

The road may not be easy, but “great is your reward in heaven.” (Matthew 5:12)

Amen!
