“Then they brought Jesus a demoniac who was blind and mute; and He cured him, so that the one who had been mute could speak and see” (Matt. 12:22)
Anything Satan can deprive you of is a win in his book.
He will lie, cheat, manipulate, and steal to take away your peace or joy or anything he can get his hands on.
“The devil is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Pet. 5:8)
“Keep watch and pray, for the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matt. 26:41)
Watch and pray, always alert for a spiritual attack, knowing that you are not defenseless against the sinister minister of evil.
“Put on the full armor of God: The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace and readiness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God), and you will be able to withstand the schemes of the devil.” (Eph. 6:10-18)
There is infinite peace to be found in Jesus. He allows the blind to see; the deaf to hear; the mute to speak; the lame to walk; the scared to be brave; the unsure to be certain; the proud to be humble; the humble to be proud . . .
There is no situation where Jesus cannot help. If you find yourself in trouble, Jesus will help you find your way out.
“He will never leave you; He will never forsake you.”
Of that, you can be confident.
