“I will call on the Lord and God will rescue me. Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice” (Ps 55:16-17)
Praise the Lord, the God of our salvation! We have a God who is incredibly amazing in every respect from being the Creator of all things good and desiring a relationship with each one of us, to being our Savior and Comforter in a fallen world.
What’s more, our Father does not sleep, nor slumber (Heb 13:5). He does not miss a moment of our lives, nor a word from our mouths, or a thought from our minds.
God does not judge as people do, by appearances, but by what is in our hearts (1 Samual 16:7). He accepts us as we are, with all of our faults, desiring only to draw closer to each of us so that we may share in His blessings.
Morning, noon, and night we can call on the Lord and He will hear us. He is closer than a phone call away – He is a thought away.
Prayer is communication with God at the speed of thought. With it, we may learn the perspective of God and understand His will.
If you are anxious, in a state of worry or panic, severely depressed or otherwise distressed – call on the Lord and He will hear you. Your cries will not go unheard! Nor your supplication unheeded!
His peace transends all human understanding (Phil. 4:6-7). Call on the Lord and allow Him to share His peace with you and be comforted.
Call on the Lord today – right now – and request His unlimited peace, love, and joy, and He will hear you.
“Ask, and you shall receive…”
